OUR TEAM

Omer Abdulrahman - Property Maintenance - Always with a smile on his face, Omer Abdulrahman’s story could fill our entire website. Running from Sudan to avoid being recruited as a child soldier, he spent time in Syria, Lebanon and Conneticut before landing in North Carolina. Omer is also a great runner and two time champ of the RDC Marathon in Durham.

Brent Francese - Creative Director - Originally from Charlotte, NC Brent studied architecture at NC State University before graduating in 2005 with a bachelors of architecture degree. He and his wife settled in Raleigh in 2008 from Asheville, NC. When he’s not designing he’s wrangling his three children or logging some miles running on Raleigh’s greenways.

Rob Aldina - Accounting/Finance - Having lived in the Northeast, Richmond, and Durham, Rob Aldina finally settled in Raleigh in 2009 after earning a Master’s in Environmental Management from Duke University. He spent the next 5 years working to enhance the market for renewable energy in North Carolina before realizing his burning passion for all things taxes. When not looking at speadsheets he is likely out walking with his girlfriend and their two dogs.

David Meeker - Managing Partner - A Raleigh native, David Meeker founded Carpenter Development Group and partnered with the Trophy Brewing team in 2008. He has made every mistake in the world, lived to tell about it, and has invaluable development experience because of that. David is on the Board of Common Cause, North Carolinians for Redistricting Reform, the Downtown Raleigh Alliance, and Artspace. He is also actively involved with fundraising for Healing Transitions, a detox and recovery center on Dix Park. David lives in Downtown Raleigh with his wife and two boys.
